Wisdom is the application of knowledge. Knowledge on its own is not as valuable as we might think. How many people do you know that they have gained wisdom by reading a book? If only it were so simple but the reality is that its going to take more work than just regurgitating someone elses words.
In the same way you can't teach people Character, it is something that must be developed for it to be real Wisdom. What we learn from external sources, such as teachings or books, must be applied to our daily lives, only then will we fully understand what it means. We know in ourselves when we truly understand something, it is when we are able to put it clearly in our words and not just repeat what we have been told. If we can develop a consistent process, like is discussed in the Psychology section, we will be able to turn our thoughts and feelings into reality, and along with kthat nowledge we might have a path to some Wisdom.
